Dapo Olajuwon’s EPL prediction: Game Week 32

Newcastle vs Wolves- 2X (Tip: 0-1)
Newcastle have now lost 3 consecutive games following the defeat at Tottenham last weekend. They have moved up, and out of the relegation zone, but they are still not safe because the more they keep losing, the more the pressure keeps summing up to be dragged back into the zone. Like I’ve said last weekend, they need to win more games but it will be hard for them here because Wolves have flipped their form and they’ve started winning games again. Wolves are aiming to secure a spot in European competition. So I think it will be a close game because they’ll give it all their best. FT: NEW 1-0 WOL

Everton vs Man Utd- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
I watched Everton play against Burnley last time out and I agreed with Sean Dyche that the Toffees don’t know how to win games. They are lacking discipline and quality when it matters. On the road, I can easily say they aren’t going to win but they’re playing at home here against a Man Utd side that is not consistent. I think the Toffees will go all in, and try to win the game knowing well that relegation is staring at them which is a great deal. Man Utd would have to be at their best to win this game because Everton would have some confidence at home and it would be a physical game. I feel they should both think of this game as a knockout game while I sit on the fence here. FT: EVE 1-0 MNU

Arsenal vs Brighton- 1X (Tip: 2-0)
Arsenal got ripped apart by Crystal Palace last time out and I thought, for once, that has their away woe caught up with them again? I watched Arteta and his boy’s faces and they looked worried. They just couldn’t get it right that night but I think they will get up back to their feet here since Brighton have found it difficult to score goals. This has to be the game for them to rejuvenate and if they do not, then it becomes worrisome.
Brighton have started to have their déjà vu again which is finding it difficult to score goals. I don’t know where the victory will come from if you can’t score, so I can’t make a case for them here. FT: ARS 1-2 BRI

Southampton vs Chelsea- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Nobody expected Chelsea to concede 4 goals against Brentford last time out. Then they went ahead to lose to Real Madrid conceding 3 goals. Southampton are a tough team at home, difficult to play against but Chelsea have to flip their form and get back to winning ways. Chelsea must be cautious of committing fouls so that James Ward-Prowse won’t harm them with superb set-piece prowess. I am expecting a good game here. FT: SOU 0-6 CHE

Watford vs Leeds Utd- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Watford have the worst home record in my opinion. They have not won at home since November after beating Man Utd 4-1. They have 8 home games left and this one is included. I can’t make a case for them here.
Leeds Utd have got Kalvin Philips, their team pivot, back from injury and he is going to be an addition to the Whites. They have picked up 7 points from their last 3 games and another win here will ensure their safety. Of course, they can win here because they seem to be back to their best lately. FT: WAT 0-3 LEE

Aston Villa vs Tottenham- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Aston Villa have no fire burning anymore, they have lost 3 times in a row and Coutinho has been very quiet for some weeks now. With the way the Spurs are playing now, I don’t think they can get a win here but a draw at best. They are no longer the Villa we know and surely something has to change.
Tottenham are on a good run and I think they will continue the good run here. As long as Harry Kane is playing well, they will be getting results but that doesn’t mean they can’t shock us badly. They always have it reserved at the corner for us. FT: ASV 0-4 TOT

Brentford vs West Ham- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
West Ham’s coach, David Moyes might have to rest some players here because of their Europa league Quarter final fixtures against Lyon but West Ham do not have squad depth. For this reason, I think we won’t get a top-notch performance from them which makes me think Brentford would have a chance to get something here if they can be outstanding like they were against Chelsea. Surely, Christian Eriksen is going to make a big difference in this game unless the Hammers come up with a plan to neutralize him because he contributes in every phase of the game which we saw last time out against the Blues. FT: BRE 2-0 WHU

Leicester vs Crystal Palace- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Crystal Palace are one of the teams that have been forced to reckon with this season. Patrick Vieira deserves some accolades for the good job he has done. Like I said last week, they are compact and are smart when switching from the attacking to defensive phase and vice versa. Leicester are an attacking team and I think it will be an end-to-end attacking game and an exciting one. In terms of quality, I think Leicester are better but the Eagles are well-disciplined which I think will help them to get something out of this game. FT: LEI 2-1 CRY

Norwich vs Burnley- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
I have to be honest about Norwich – they have already relegated in my head while Burnley have just given themselves a bigger hope to survive relegation after getting a victory against Everton last time out. The Clarets were resilient even when they were behind and till the final minutes when they got the massive victory. I think they’ll go into this game with the same high spirit and aim at another great win which might take them out of the relegation zone and above Everton if the Toffees fail to win. FT: NOR 2-0 BUR

Man City vs Liverpool- 1X (Tip: 1-0)
I think this is the biggest fixture of the season as of now. This fixture always looks promising but the results do not always come out as we expect and I think this is due to the quality of both sides matching up to each other. It will be a very close and good game and I’m not expecting many goals. Liverpool are on an excellent run but coming to play at Etihad just makes me feel Man City can edge it. FT: MCI 22 LIV
