Dapo Olajuwon’s EPL prediction: Game Week 33

16-04-2022

Tottenham vs Brighton- 1X (Tip: 2-0)
Brighton got a good win against Arsenal last time out but I don’t see them repeating it here because the Spurs are playing well at the moment having won their last 4 games and are now in the top 4 mix. They seem to be the favorite to fill in the top 4 and as long as Harry Kane keeps playing well, they will maintain the good momentum. I don’t think they will drop points here because a couple of wins will help them to secure that European competition spot they are looking at. FT: TOT 0-1 BRI

Man Utd vs Norwich- 1X (Tip: 1-0)
Normally I should say Man Utd would win this tie without thinking twice but it isn’t the case for me here. Norwich have shown us that they haven’t given up yet with their win over Burnley last time out. For this reason, I think they can make up their mind and cause an upset since Man Utd aren’t consistent. I will be going with Man Utd to get something out of this game but with only one leg in. FT: MNU 3-2 NOR

Southampton vs Arsenal- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Both teams are on bad runs. Southampton have lost 3 of their last 4 games while Arsenal aren’t themselves in the last couple of games too – looking like their away woes, in particular, have caught up with them. Usually, Arsenal aren’t strong away from home while the Saints used to be strong at home. I think a draw won’t be a bad result for both sides. I can’t make a case for either side right now which is why I will be sitting on the fence. FT: SOU 1-0 ARS

Watford vs Brentford- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Watford have the worst home record in my opinion and I don’t think they can flip it here because Brentford are sparkling at the moment having won 4 of their last 5 games. I don’t have a case to make for the Hornets and I think this will be another win for the Bees while I have my eyes on Eriksen and Ivan Toney. FT: WAT 1-2 BRE

Newcastle vs Leicester- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Newcastle lost 3 games away from home until they won last time out at home against Wolves which seems to me like they are better at home. They play at home here again so I expect them to play well and better. Leicester are like a sinusoidal wave so far and you never can tell what outcome you can get from them. In my opinion, they are a strong team compared to Newcastle and I think a draw will be a fair result here. FT: NEW 2-1 LEI

West Ham vs Burnley- 1X (Tip: 1-1)
Burnley failed to follow up their victory (against Everton) by losing to Norwich last time out. They could have gotten a draw through Cornet but they failed to take their chance. I don’t think they would get much chance against West Ham on the usual occasion. The only advantage they have is that West Ham is having a Europa League tie in the midweek. So they might get to face a weak West Ham team which I think will still be difficult for them to beat. FT: WHU 1-1 BUR
