Dapo Olajuwon’s EPL prediction: Game Week 34

Arsenal vs Man Utd- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Man Utd are still missing Fred and McTominay who are out injured and it is taking a toll on them because there’s no player to create the balance in the midfield and pivot for them. Arsenal surprised us with an amazing performance and result last time out against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They were quicker and faster with the ball and scored multiple goals to seal the victory. I think we can get a similar result but I won’t go all-in for the Gunners because Ronaldo is back for the Red Devils and they will want to react to that heavy defeat they suffered against Liverpool last time out. FT: ARS 3-1 MNU

Leicester vs Aston Villa- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Leicester have been up and down, swinging like a sinusoidal wave and they’ve been conceding late goals recently which they’ve been getting punished for. Aston Villa have been poor having lost their last 4 games but I think they have a chance to redeem themselves here because Leicester are not consistent and they have a Europa Conference tie with Roma in a few days to come; which means the Foxes might rest some players and field a less-quality team. I will be sitting on the fence here. FT: LEI 0-0 ASV

Man City vs Watford- 1 (Tip: 3-0)
Man City will win, we know. The question is how many goals will they score? One thing Roy Hodgson should focus on is try not to concede a lot of goals. We know he will set up a team that will make it hard for City to score and that gives the Cityzens only one job to do which is finding a way through. Once Man City get the first goal in the early minutes, they will become more ambitious and score as many as they can. FT: MCI 5-1 WAT

Norwich vs Newcastle- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Norwich are now scoring a couple of goals recently telling us that they’ve got something to show us. So I believe they will make things difficult for the Magpies here. Newcastle proved me wrong with 3 home wins which have taken them up the table but they are playing away from home here. They have a poor away record but I want to give them a chance based on their current mentality which I think is now about winning. I won’t be surprised to see a very low scoring affair. FT: NOR 0-3 NEW

Brentford vs Tottenham- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Brentford have won their last 3 games but I think they are about to have a hiccup here. Tottenham tumbled last out against Brighton and I don’t think they will tumble again here when their rivals in the top 4 race will be facing each other earlier in the day before they play. I’m sure they realize it is a chance to give themselves more advantage for the spot. Brentford will play well, no disrespect, but I think Tottenham will manage to cross the line. FT: BRE 0-0 TOT

Brighton vs Southampton- 1X (Tip: 1-0)
Southampton have disappointed me a couple of times recently and their performance last time out against Burnley has put a halt in my mind to making a case for them because they appear to me to be very poor at the moment but safe in the league.
Brighton got a fortunate win against Tottenham. They stayed focused till the last minute believing they could, and they did. I think they will go into this game with the same mentality as long as Trossard is available irrespective of their defeat to Man City last time out. FT: BRI 2-2 SOU

Burnley vs Wolves- 2X (Tip: 0-1)
Burnley have been impressive in their last two games since Sean Dyche’s departure having got one draw and one win pursuit. They are going to face Wolves here; a side that is difficult to break down and hardly open up for you to create a chance. I think the Clarets are going to have a hiccup here and this might just be the game where Wolves hit you hard when you make a mistake and they break away. I think this is going to be a low-scoring affair. FT: BUR 1-0 WOL

Chelsea vs West Ham- under 3.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Chelsea were defensively poor against Arsenal last time out. They played so naively at the back and I was disappointed to hear Thomas Tuchel blame the pitch for the loss. Maybe he just had to say something either true or false. I believe we will get a reaction from the Blues but I can’t make a case for them.
West Ham have got a Europa League tie with Frankfurt on Thursday, so I think they will reserve some players but the rest they had in the midweek will help them to be refreshed and energetic. Probably they can get something out of this game. FT: CHE 1-0 WHU

Liverpool vs Everton- 1 (Tip: 2-0)
This is the Merseyside derby. This derby is usually full of upsets but there is now a wide margin between the two teams in which one is very good and the other isn’t. Nevertheless, I still expect a good game because it is a derby but I can’t see the Toffees keeping out the Reds. I can’t just see it because they don’t have the quality to do it. It is a fire in the hole for Everton unless we see wonders. FT: LIV 2-0 EVE

Crystal Palace vs Leeds Utd- over 1.5 (Tip: 1-1)
Leeds Utd have lost 2 consecutive games but considering since Jesse Marsch took over, we can’t be thinking of relegation as though they are not very safe. Crystal Palace are on a bad run and it is hard for me to make a case for them here. I think a draw will be fair enough for both sides. But should Leeds go into this game with a truck of strength and dynamism, these could be the differential and they might snatch the win. FT: CRY 0-0 LEE
