Dapo Olajuwon’s EPL prediction: Game Week 35

Newcastle vs Liverpool- 2X (Tip: 1-2)
Newcastle have brought 4 consecutive wins to the board and I think they will be so confident going into this one. I noticed Eddie Howe rotated his team and so for this reason, I think they’ll be back refreshed here. They will try to get into the face of the Reds but Liverpool are at that moment that everything Jurgen Klopp touches turns to gold. Newcastle will put up a good fight but Liverpool will win. FT: NEW 0-1 LIV

Aston Villa vs Norwich- 1X (Tip: 2-1)
Coming off 4 consecutive defeats, Aston Villa earned a point against Leicester last time out and I think it is something to build on from here. I think this is a good chance for them to flip their poor form because they need to finish the season well to lure good players to sign in the summer transfer window.
Norwich are not officially relegated but in my head, I can see them playing in Championship next season. They didn’t play well against Newcastle last time out and I thought maybe these guys have already accepted that they’ve been relegated. It is hard to make a case for them which is why I’m going to back Aston Villa here. FT: ASV 2-0 NOR

Southampton vs Crystal Palace- over 1.5 (Tip: 2-1)
These two have some similarities – they are both in the mid-table, on a poor run having got 5 points in their last 5 games. I don’t think they have something worth dying for. With the way Southampton came back into the game against Brighton last time out, I think they can get something out of this one because they are usually strong at home. Nevertheless, I’m not ruling out Crystal Palace as well; this is very hard to predict. FT: SOU 1-2 CRY

Watford vs Burnley- under 3.5 (Tip: 0-1)
Burnley are up against a side that has the worst home record in the time they are playing well to avoid relegation. Watford have lost 10 consecutive games at home so I can’t make a case for them. Even though their performances are not very bad, I’m more concerned about the outcome and throwing their performances in the waste bin at the moment. This could be a great win for Burnley if they win but something tells me that the Hornets could also get something out of this game. Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson will set up his side to be difficult to beat as usual. FT: WAT 1-2 BUR

Wolves vs Brighton- under 3.5 (Tip: 1-0)
This should be a low-scoring affair because these two teams do not usually score many goals. Wolves have drifted away from the winning ways lately having lost 3 of their last 4 games but their rough times, this season, do not last long. Brighton have earned more points away from home which means they play better on the road and here, they’re on the road. May the best side win. FT: WOL 0-3 BRI

Leeds Utd vs Man City- 2 (Tip: 0-2)
I do not think this will be a roller coaster for Man City. I think Pep is going to rotate the team because of their UCL clash with Real Madrid, so we might not get to see an excellent game here. Leeds Utd are still that one-way traffic team although Jesse Marsch has made some changes and done well. They will get at City which will open them up at the back. This will give the Cityzens the chance to cause them damage but I’m not expecting a high scoreline. FT: LEE 0-4 MCI

Everton vs Chelsea- 2X (Tip: 1-1)
Chelsea are in a mess right now and I don’t know how much longer it will take them to get out of it. Thomas Tuchel might make some changes here as they focus on their FA cup final clash with Liverpool knowing well they will finish in the top 4. Everton are in the relegation zone and are desperate. They will need to work as hard as they did against Liverpool to get something out of this one too. They just need to work it out for themselves whichever way and of which I don’t see it happening unless the Blues perform awfully. FT: EVE 1-0 CHE

Tottenham vs Leicester- 1X (Tip: 2-1)
Tottenham have dropped points recently- a defeat to Brighton at White Hart Lane and a goalless draw last time out against Brentford. I think they should know that they have a chance against Leicester who’s got nothing to die for in the premier league. Leicester are now focusing on the Europa Conference League semi-final against Roma in the midweek and I think they’ve got their reason to be inconsistent in the Premier League. FT: TOT 3-1 LEI

West Ham vs Arsenal- 2X (Tip: 0-1)
West Ham are also a team focusing on the Europa league like Leicester so David Moyes would likely rotate his team despite not having the squad depth. For a fact, I won’t be expecting a result from them here but I expect them to be difficult to beat. Arsenal are at this advantage but if they fail to win, I wouldn’t be surprised because their goals seem to have dried up at the moment. I just feel Arsenal should get something out of this game no matter what. FT: WHU 1-2 ARS

Man Utd vs Brentford- 1X (Tip: 2-1)
Looking at previous performance and results, one could say Brentford would win but it doesn’t work that way in football. Man United are a big club and they can grind out results even if they don’t play well. Brentford are playing well and I’m sure they would cause the Red Devils some trouble especially when Christian Eriksen has the ball. I just feel United would get something out of this game – it has to come somewhere and something will ginger them; maybe from their 1-1 draw against Chelsea last time out or from the fans at Old Trafford. FT: MNU 3-0 BRE
