About 12 hours before the Arsenal vs Man City game, updates were received when I said Arsenal couldn’t beat Man City but I didn’t get it on this blog site. I feel the credibility of the site could be in question. If you feel or have any contrary opinion, please leave a comment in the comment section below the page. Hence, I feel the other way of reaching out to our beloved audience is through social media where interactions and communication can be easily made.

🦁 ASTON VILLA VS ARSENAL 🔴
Aston Villa are having a rough time at the moment and have lost their last two games. They were outclassed by Man City last time out and taken by surprise against Leicester in the game before. Unai Emery would have been asking questions and looking for a solution. They won’t want to lose a third game in a row so I’m expecting a reaction from them here. Arsenal, on the other hand, suffered a 1-3 defeat at the Emirates stadium against Man City on Wednesday night. They’ve got 1 of possibly 9 points in their last three games and have been overtaken by Man City as the league leaders on goal difference. They need to avoid a defeat or draw here to remain firm in contention for the league title. Maybe they will bounce back here but I think they are looking tired at the moment. Arsenal, in their last few games, have been vulnerable to set-piece, especially corners, and I think Unai Emery will be looking forward to exploiting this weak link and telling Douglas Luiz to be prepared for good set-piece deliveries if he has seen and recognized it. So I will rather have one of my legs kept out of the Gunners’ horizon.
TIP: ASV 1-2 ARS
RESULT: ASV 2-4 ARS
🐝 BRENTFORD VS CRYSTAL PALACE 🦅
Crystal Palace, in their last four games, have been negatively sinusoidal (from origin zero to trough), as in LDLD, so what is next is an L – quite funny huh? The Eagles have been playing well though so I can’t rule them out completely. Brentford, on the other hand, have been positively sinusoidal (from origin zero to crest), as in WDWD, so what is next is a W – quite very funny huh? Don’t be surprised if the sinusoidal wave continues between these two teams because Brentford have been brilliantly narrowing down and neutralizing their opponent’s threats and are strong at the Center Back – we all saw what their CBs did against Arsenal. Having said all that, I have a feeling that this might be an end-to-end game.
TIP: BRE 2-1 CRY
RESULT: BRE 1-1 CRY
🐦 BRIGHTON VS FULHAM ⚪
Brighton have been finding it difficult to score more than one goal since their last two games and I think it might continue from here because Fulham barely concede two goals in a match. The Seagulls’ last four games have been WDWD while Fulham have successfully flipped back to winning ways after a win over Nott. Forest last time out. This will be a real test for them and you cannot be sure which way the result would go. This is hard to predict and I think a draw will be a fair result for both sides.
PREDICTION: Over 1.5
TIP: BHA 1-1 FUL
RESULT: BHA 0-1 FUL
🔵 CHELSEA VS SOUTHAMPTON ⛔
Southampton have sacked Nathan Jones; he’s got poor stats as a Saint manager really. They tried to hire former Leeds Utd manager, Jesse Marsch who also got sacked last week but they couldn’t reach an agreement with him so Rubén Sellés will be in charge of this game against the Blues. I think this tells me more about the club that the problem is really beyond the manager like I’ve been saying. The board of directors is not doing well enough at all in my opinion and I think they will be relegated this season unless they sort out things and get it right for the remaining part of the season – 15-16 matches left. Chelsea, on the other hand, after signing almost all the available players in the January transfer window still can’t find a way to make it work out and put a win on the table. They played quite well against West Ham in the first half last time out but their performance gradually waned in the second half. That was disappointing but I think they should get a result here. It would be shameful if they do not win this game because of the condition the Saints are in. Can I say an absolute failure?
TIP: CHE 2-1 SOU
RESULT: CHE 0-1 SOU
🔵 EVERTON VS LEEDS UTD ⚪
Leeds Utd have parted ways with Jesse Marsch and Michael Skubala has been announced to be in charge of their trip to Goodison Park. It might be somehow difficult to foresee how Skubala will approach this game but I won’t be expecting surprises against Everton. A typical Sean Dyche team always drags opponents down to their level and does not score nor concede many goals. We saw how the Toffees tried to drag Liverpool down last time out but they were unlucky and encountered a Liverpool side that came to the party in a Merseyside derby. For what it’s worth, I am not expecting many goals here.
PREDICTION: Under 3.5
TIP: EVE 1-1 LEE
RESULT: EVE 1-0 LEE
🎄 NOTT. FOREST VS MAN CITY 💎
It is a pity, Nott. Forest are facing Man City here. They are going to face a consecutive defeat here just after they suffered a defeat against Fulham last time out. Man City got a good win against Aston Villa last weekend and against Arsenal in midweek – they scored three goals in each of the games and I think they might score more here because they are now on a very good run. They are now sitting on top of the league and have got every reason to continue their winning streak. There has always been a period in the season under Pep Guardiola since 2017/2018 when the Cityzens found a very good form and then hit about 10-16 games of either straight wins or unbeaten runs. Maybe this is the period again for this season.
TIP: NFO 0-4 MCI
RESULT: NFO 1-1 MCI
🐺 WOLVES VS BOURNEMOUTH 🍒
Bournemouth have not been getting results but their performance has been quite good. After they got unlucky against Brighton in a 1-0 defeat, they finally got a reward for a good performance against Newcastle last time out in a 1-1 draw – a game where they scored first and took the lead. But Wolves here are not struggling to score goals like Brighton and Newcastle they faced in their previous game. Wolves seem to be in total control of their games at the moment, and they even did a comeback victory against Southampton last time out despite having a player sent off in the first half. I think Wolves will win or draw here coupled with the fact that they are playing at home.
TIP: WOL 2-1 BOU
RESULT: WOL 0-1 BOU
⚫ NEWCASTLE VS LIVERPOOL 🔴
Newcastle have been impressive and they’ve got the best defense this season but they have been struggling to score goals recently which has dragged them down the league table (from third to fourth position) which is attributable to injury concerns. The latest injury concern at Newcastle is Miguel Almirón which is giving me concern about where their goals will come from. Liverpool on the other hand, sparkled against Everton last time out in the Merseyside derby and I think it might be a good time for Liverpool to play against the Magpies. Cody Gakpo and Mo Salah scored with Alexander-Arnold on top of his game last time out, which could give them the confidence needed to play and get something out of this game. Maybe the Reds’ season is about to turn around for good now.
PREDICTION: Over 1.5
TIP: NEW 1-1 LIV
RESULT: NEW 0-2 LIV
👹 MAN UTD VS LEICESTER 🦊
This should be a cracker and there should be goals. Man Utd have been scoring at least two goals in their last six games (including their visit to Camp Nou on Thursday) and Rashford can’t stop scoring. Outfield players like Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Weghorst, Varane, and Fred all played full-time at Camp Nou on Thursday and will be expected to be on the field on Sunday as well. Will they or their legs be feeling tired? They will have Lisandro Martínez, Antony, and Sabitzer back fresh going into this one while Casemiro will still be missed due to suspension – this should be his last match ban. Leicester, on the other hand, have suddenly flipped their form and secured two consecutive wins against Aston Villa and Tottenham respectively scoring 4 goals in each of the matches. These two teams have got goals in them so I am expecting a minimum of two goals here.
PREDICTION: Over 1.5
TIP: MUN 2-1 LEI
RESULT: MUN 3-0 LEI
⚪ TOTTENHAM VS WEST HAM 🛠
One of the most inconsistent teams in the Premier League this season is Tottenham. The way they lost to Leicester was alarming and their performance was awful. I have been asking myself questions recently and I just have a feeling that something is not right either in the dressing room or at the club as a whole. West Ham, on the other hand, played a bit well against Chelsea last time out. They showed their fighting spirit in the first half, got the equalizer, and declined in terms of performance in the second half. They were lucky to have the referee overlook their player’s handball from Conor Gallagher’s shot – like a goalkeeper in an outfield player. That was a blunder and such a mistake can’t be tolerated here. It is hard to make a case for either side because of their inconsistency so I think it will be safe to bank on goals since these two teams can’t stop conceding goals.
