⚪ TOTTENHAM VS BRENTFORD 🐝 (12:30 WAT)
Brentford’s striker, Ivan Toney has been banned from football for 8 months by the FA over betting rules breaches and according to sources, the club wants to offer him a new deal. The striker has 20 goals and 4 assists for the club this season but he’s not included in the team of the season. So I’m sure he will be greatly missed. Where will their goals come from? Tottenham, on the other hand, suffered a defeat last time out against Aston Villa away from home. Because they are playing at home here plus the huge blow for the Bees, I think Spurs will capitalize on it and get something out of this game.
TIP: TOT 2-1 BRE
RESULT: TOT 1-3 BRE
🍒 BOURNEMOUTH VS MAN UTD 👹 (15:00 WAT)
Bournemouth lost to Crystal Palace last time out but it is nothing to worry about because they are safe. They will be keen to react here and hope to finish the season well on a high note. Man Utd’s away record is not great which was noticed when they lost against all the top nine clubs in the PL on the road. Fortunately, Bournemouth aren’t in the top nine so they should win to keep their next season’s Champions League place ascertained because they are not far from dropping off as Liverpool come close behind them. They are only two points ahead of Liverpool with a game in hand.
TIP: BOU 1-2 MUN
RESULT: BOU 0-1 MUN
⚪ FULHAM VS CRYSTAL PALACE 🦅 (15:00 WAT)
This should be an intense game between these two sides and I think they are a match for each other right now. Mitrovic is back on the field for Fulham so there will be goals like he did last time out against Southampton which relegated the Saints while Crystal Palace are also scoring goals with Eze enjoying the best form of his life at the moment. A piece of good news for Palace is Wilfred Zaha is considering staying over a £200,000 wage per week, so I think the atmosphere will be good for the Eagles. It is difficult to pick a side here so I will be sitting on the fence to enjoy the few goals.
PREDICTION: Over 1.5
TIP: FUL 1-1 CRY
RESULT: FUL 2-2 CRY
🔴 LIVERPOOL VS ASTON VILLA 🦁 (15:00 WAT)
Aston Villa bounced back to winning ways as they secured a victory over Tottenham last time out and their ambition for Europe competition next season is back on. They love to score but I don’t think they will be having a great afternoon here against Liverpool who are on a winning run. Liverpool are hoping to secure a Champions League spot if possible with 2 points behind Man Utd but certainly in the Europa League spot. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been astonishing in the new midfield role and it is good to see him play the beautiful game again after he struggled a lot earlier this season. Mohamed Salah, on the other hand, might be keen to showcase his best once again as he misses out on the Premier League team of the season despite scoring 19 goals and 10 assists.
TIP: LIV 2-1 ASV
RESULT: LIV 1-1 ASV
🐺 WOLVES VS EVERTON 🔵 (15:00 WAT)
This has to be a low-scoring affair because these two teams don’t score many goals. Everton rely on set-pieces to get goals while Wolves do not create plenty of chances and seldom bury the few chances they always manage to create. Should Everton get anything out of this game, then it is a sign that they can survive relegation. Wolves, on the other hand, are safe, they have nothing to lose and less to play for but might be determined to end the season well on a high note. This game means the Toffees are fighting for their life and a point to any team in the relegation battle is now so significant and will go a long way because it can keep you in the top-flight football as it stands now.
PREDICTION: Under 3.5
TIP: WOL 1-1 EVE
RESULT: WOL 1-1 EVE
🎄 NOTT. FOREST VS ARSENAL 🔴 (17:30 WAT)
It is a pity that Nott. Forest are facing Arsenal at this time. I believe they know that they are fighting for their lives and I could see that when they played against Chelsea and got a draw. Getting something out of this game will be a massive result for them because every point matters now. Arsenal, on the other hand, will show no mercy as they will try to keep up with Man City in the title race and hope Man City experience a hiccup against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium. An Arsenal win is written all over the face of this fixture but the Gunners are looking tired and a team fighting a relegation battle is more dangerous. A point to any team in the relegation battle is now so significant and will go a long way because it can keep you in the top-flight football as it stands now.
TIP: NFO 1-2 ARS
RESULT: NFO 1-0 ARS
⚒️ WEST HAM VS LEEDS UTD ⚪ (13:30 WAT)
West Ham players will possibly be tired because they played in Europe in the midweek and a big congratulations to West Ham and David Moyes for getting to the Europa Conference League final. I am really impressed and I hope they win it to reward themselves this season. David Moyes might be forced to rotate the team he doesn’t have which might affect their performance here. Leeds Utd will fancy this factor and give it all to get something out of this game which will be a massive result for them in the relegation battle. Like I said, a point to any team in the relegation battle is now so significant and will go a long way because it can keep you in the top-flight football as it stands now. The way I watched them play against Newcastle last time out, I feel like they are determined to fight till the end.
PREDICTION: Over 1.5
TIP: WHU 1-1 LEE
RESULT: WHU 3-1 LEE
🐦 BRIGHTON VS SOUTHAMPTON ⛔ (14:00 WAT)
Southampton were relegated last weekend after a 0-2 loss to Fulham at St. Mary’s and I am wondering if we would get any spark from them because they have nothing to play for. Brighton, on the other hand, have everything to play for. They are in the mix to book their place for Europe next season. Losing to Newcastle in the midweek didn’t do them any good so they will be determined to bounce back here as this fixture seems to be the perfect game to do so and get the job done.
TIP: BHA 2-0 SOU
RESULT: BHA 3-1 SOU
💎 MAN CITY VS CHELSEA 🔵 (16:00 WAT)
This is a must-win for Man City because if they do, they will be crowned the League Champions for the third successive season at home. They will be eager to get the job done so that they can focus well on the final games in the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League. Chelsea have struggled all through the season and going to Etihad Stadium doesn’t sound good at the moment. Etihad Stadium has been a fortress for the Cityzens this season and it is now like a place where they humiliate opponents (Real Madrid are a typical example). I think Frank Lampard will just set up his side to stress the opponents more which are possibly tired from their UCL semi-final clash against Real Madrid on Wednesday and try not to concede many goals.
TIP: MCI 2-0 CHE
RESULT: MCI 1-0 CHE
⚫ NEWCASTLE VS LEICESTER 🦊 (20:00 WAT)
Any point picked up will be massive for Leicester as they fight to survive the relegation battle but I can’t see them getting anything here. I mean no disrespect to them but I wondered how Leicester have declined over the years from League winners in 2016 to mid-table team and now to relegation battle team. I think they will go down with Southampton certainly because they can’t just stop conceding goals and I also think it is time for them to go back to the Championship and rejuvenate. Newcastle, on the other hand, are very much in the top four and will definitely want to finish the season on a high note and in a grand style. It is not talked about but I know finishing above Man Utd is important to the Magpies. I will be surprised if they do not get something out of this game.
TIP: NEW 2-1 LEI
RESULT: NEW 0-0 LEI
