Crystal Palace started well last time out but unbelievably lost it all towards the end of the game. Roy Hodgson must have been so disappointed and will be asking his boys for more here. They need to work on their defense because they concede goals anyhow and I wonder how you could be shipping in goals as you are getting them. It won’t get anywhere. Fulham, on the other hand, are struggling to get goals but they do not concede as many goals as the Eagles. They managed to score a goal last time out against Luton Town and had to keep them out till full-time; something I think they won’t be able to do here. I think they will be goals and I will be backing Crystal Palace here because they will get to enjoy the home advantage plus the fan factor.

👒 LUTON TOWN VS WOLVES 🐺 (15:00 WAT)

Luton Town are still not playing like a Premier League side in my opinion and I can’t see their win around the corner yet unless they surprise me and prove me wrong. It is difficult to make a case for them at the moment but I expect a good home performance from them here, not a result. I know they will be desperate to put at least a point on the table after losing all the games they’ve played so far but the truth is, they have to improve significantly. Wolves, on the other hand, have scored at least one goal in each of their last 4 games in the Premier League. I am confident the goals will come by in this one and I think they will be looking at this fixture as the perfect game to get their second league win. Nevertheless, I won’t be jumping into the air for them without my parachute.

💎 MAN CITY VS NOTT. FOREST 🎄 (15:00 WAT)

Even though Man City played Champions League in the midweek, I can never be worried about them because they’ve got the squad depth to compete in every competition despite having injury concerns. They are still going to create a load of chances and play well but they have got only two assignments to do brilliantly which are converting the chances they create and stopping the opponents from shooting the ball. I could remember the last time they met at the City Ground last season, the Cityzens allowed them to shoot once and the game ended 1-1. Nott. Forest no longer show respect for any team, they will get in the face of the Cityzens and do what they know how to do best but I don’t think they can get a result here.

🐝 BRENTFORD VS EVERTON 🔵 (17:30 WAT)

These two teams are struggling and the goals are becoming hard to come by as they both suffered a 1-0 defeat each against Newcastle and Arsenal respectively. Everton showed us their defensive prowess last time out and I think they will be going for the same game plan. Brentford, on the other hand, will be aiming at solving their goal scoring problem here at home and table a win after being winless in their last 3 games (DDL). I am not expecting many goals and I believe the Bees will get something out of this game.

📛 BURNLEY VS MAN UTD 👹 (20:00 WAT)

Burnley have finally secured a point in the Premier League after playing a 1-1 draw on the road against Nott. Forest last weekend. They will be having a bit of confidence going into this one believing that they could build on their last performance and result. Distinctively, if they are aware of the crisis Man Utd are facing, then they might just recognize that they stand a chance of getting something out of this game. All they just have to do is keep shooting the ball at Man Utd’s goalkeeper, Andre Onana who’s got no shield from the defense. To be honest, I do not see differences between Onana and Man City’s Ederson. The only difference is that Ederson’s got a very good defense that is shielding him. Also, I think Casemiro should be paired with a good midfielder, not Eriksen obviously, and allow him to go forward, get into good positions and score more goals and provide assists; it suits him after watching him play the role against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. Rashford has to be selfless, more services should be delivered to Højlund and they will get goals. If all these can be done, I am confident that they will get a result here and they will be eager to use this one to bounce back to winning ways.

🔴 ARSENAL VS TOTTENHAM ⚪ (14:00 WAT)

This is the North London derby and I am expecting it to be a cracker. Arsenal played Champions League against PSV in the midweek but Mikel Arteta was smart enough to substitute his key players early in order to give them some rest ahead of this clash. So I don’t think they should be short of strength and power in attack. Tottenham will be looking at this factor and be hoping to run over the Gunners in this one which could make me say that this game will be all about running and covering grounds. I will be eager to see the battle between Maddison and Declan Rice, and Ødegaard and Bissouma. It is a difficult call to make here as I have my doubts for both clubs, as in, can the Spurs get something at the Emirates Stadium to keep their unbeaten record? Will tiredness not catch up with the Gunners? I know for a fact that both teams will be willing to do anything to keep their unbeaten run – they’ve both got a reason to play so I think a draw will be a fair result for both of them.

🐦 BRIGHTON VS BOURNEMOUTH 🍒 (14:00 WAT)

In terms of quality, Bournemouth are not a match for Brighton at the moment. The Cherries got a good draw against Chelsea last time out – thanks to the Blue’s woes but I do not think they can hold Brighton down here. Yes, Brighton played Europa League in the midweek and the Cherries might be looking out to take the opportunity that they might be tired but I believe they have got the squad depth to keep the business running. To me, every player at Brighton is now a potential threat just like I watched Simon Adingra last weekend. I am backing the Seagulls for a win, or draw if tiredness catches up with them.

🔵 CHELSEA VS ASTON VILLA 🦁 (14:00 WAT)

Last time the Lions paid a visit to Stamford Bridge, they left with maximum points in a 0-2 victory. With the crisis at Chelsea right now, I think they might get a similar result. Chelsea were awful against Bournemouth last time out and they couldn’t get a goal. At first, Nicolas Jackson made good runs but his teammates could find him and he grew frustrated over time and became poor till the end of the game. It is not just ticking at Chelsea and the formula is not working. Chelsea are bad at converting their chances to goal at the moment which is why it is difficult for me to match them with Aston Villa here. I think the best result the Blues can get here is a draw irrespective of them being at home unless we see significant changes in the way they play and perform.

🔴 LIVERPOOL VS WEST HAM ⚒️ (14:00 WAT)

West Ham have been a good side until they met Man City and lost 3-1 at home. Now they are going to face Liverpool who are also unbeaten so far and seem to be in gear at the moment. Or let me ask, what’s the difference between Liverpool and Man City in the league at the moment. Not much difference I would say. Moreover, going to Anfield is like going to a lion’s den and then you breathe a different air. Liverpool are impressive, unbeaten, sharp and dangerous when they go forward. I do not see the Hammers getting a result here.

⚔️ SHEFFIELD UTD VS NEWCASTLE ⚫ (16:30 WAT)

Sheffield Utd are still trying to pitch their tent in the Premier League; they’ve got one point and they do not concede many goals. If you are asking them to get something out of this game, you’d be asking them to die so I am not expecting them to get something out of this game. All I expect from the Blades is a good fight and probably get a goal as they’ve been getting. After many years, Newcastle made a remarkable return to the Champions League in the midweek against AC Milan in a goalless draw. It was a real test for them and I am sure it will propel them to improve the intensity of their game so that they can leave a mark in their UCL group stage even if they fail to qualify. I am not expecting a top notch performance here because I think Eddie Howe will rotate his team and give rest to some key players.
