This is the Merseyside derby and I am expecting it to be intense as usual. Everton will be hoping to build on their last victory against Bournemouth but we all know that Liverpool are a different proposition and the spark that it is a derby hits differently both on the surface and in the inner core. Moreover, going to Anfield is like breathing a different air and the fan’s presence is always wild for the Reds which is another factor that is going to have an impact on the game. I am not expecting many goals but I am surely expecting a Liverpool victory.

🍒 BOURNEMOUTH VS WOLVES 🐺 (15:00 WAT)

Bournemouth have been conceding many goals lately and they’ve conceded seven goals in their last two league games which makes it difficult to make a case for them here. Wolves, on the other hand, have unbeaten in 3 games (DWD) – they got an impressive win against Man City in between. I think they will recognize that they have a great course to play for and ensure that they get something out of this game. Moreover, Gary O’Neil was laid off by Bournemouth for the excuse that he’s not the right man for the club’s ambition. Now he’s facing his former side and will be determined to sink them.

🐝 BRENTFORD VS BURNLEY 📛 (15:00 WAT)

Brentford have been in crisis and they came close to getting out of it in their last game until late minutes disasters which saw them take nothing from Old Trafford against Man Utd last time out. They will be looking at this game as the perfect chance to turn it over. Burnley, on the other hand, will be looking at how they can stop conceding many goals due to damage to goal difference they have at the moment. I believe they are going to give the Bees a good game but I do not see them getting anything here. Maybe they can get a draw as a reward for good performance, maybe not.

💎 MAN CITY VS BRIGHTON 🐦 (15:00 WAT)

Man City have lost two consecutive Premier League games for the first time since 2018 under Pep Guardiola. It’s hard to believe but that’s football and it is what it is. They will be eager to bounce back to winning ways here and the return of Rodri from suspension is going to a huge addition to the team. In all honesty, Rodri was so missed that they lost all the games he was out suspended and Kalvin Phillips couldn’t fit in. I think they need to go into the market and buy a competent backup for Rodri. Brighton, on the other hand, shared the points with Liverpool last time out in a 2-2 draw coming off from a 6-1 defeat at Villa Park. It was a great response from them last time out and it’s a pity that they are facing a wounded lion here. Etihad Stadium has been a fortress for the Cityzens which is why it is doubtful that the Seagulls will get anything from there. I will be going with a Man City win but I’m not going to put both of my legs in the circle for them.

⚫ NEWCASTLE VS CRYSTAL PALACE 🦅 (15:00 WAT)

Newcastle have been on a good run and they are gaining momentum but Crystal Palace are the king of binary at the moment. They tend to drag their opponents down to their level if they can’t walk pass them but I think that will be difficult to do here because the Magpies are at home and will be having the home fans cheering them up to do more and more until the game is no more. Crystal Palace will only be hoping that they slip off and rattle them up for ransom. I strongly believe that Newcastle will get something out of this game.

Luton Town are becoming increasingly difficult to beat. They are putting up a good fight and are keeping it tight – we saw how they frustrated Tottenham last time out. Nott. Forest, on the other hand, are a team who are capable of getting the maximum points here and they are a good counter-attacking side. They will be playing at home here where they always feel comfortable and more confident which makes me believe that they will take their chance here and get something out of this game if not all.

🔵 CHELSEA VS ARSENAL 🔴 (17:30 WAT)

The London derby is here and it is the biggest game of this Match Week so to speak. It is about what color is London – “Blue or Red” and each team will be determined to secure a victory here so that their fans can earn the bragging right and take over the streets of London with their preferred color. The good news is that Chelsea have got some players back from injury, especially the return of their captain, Reece James which excites everyone. Also, the Blues have found a solution to their goal scoring problem and have scored six goals in their last two games, so it is going to be a balanced game. Arsenal are still unbeaten in the league this season so they have a greater course to play for which makes it more exciting and I believe that it is going to be an end-to-end game.

⚔️ SHEFFIELD UTD VS MAN UTD 👹 (20:00 WAT)

It is hard to see a win around the corner for Sheffield Utd at the moment. I’m still of the opinion that they need to go back into the market and make a massive recruitment if they’ve got funds at their disposal. If you are asking them to get something out of this game, then you are asking them to die especially right after Man Utd pulled a magical piece against Brentford last time out. Games like that massively improve the morale of a team and lift team’s spirit, and I believe that Man Utd will build on it and continue from where they left off but I won’t be putting my both hands on deck for the Red Devils because of their inconsistency.

🦁 ASTON VILLA VS WEST HAM ⚒️ (16:30 WAT)

The fact that Aston Villa are at home gives me an insight that they will play well while West Ham are also a resilient team at the moment. Those teams are unbeaten in their last two games and are gaining momentum. Ollie Watkins is enjoying one of the best forms of his life and banging goals for Villa while Mohammed Kudus, James Ward-Prowse, and Jarrod Bowen are perpetually turning up for the Hammers. I think it will be a fair result for both sides if they share the points and I believe that there will be goals.

⚪ TOTTENHAM VS FULHAM ⚪ (20:00 WAT)

This is the battle of the Whites at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium between two London clubs but which is not a derby. This game looks promising with loads of chances to be created by both teams but the question is how many chances will be converted to goal in this clash? In terms of quality, it is easy to go with Spurs but I won’t overlook Fulham. I believe the Cottagers will give Tottenham a good game but it is hard for me to say they will get something out of this game because the Spurs have got a great reason to play for which is their unbeaten record in the league. Come what may, I expect Tottenham to secure the 3 points here at home and keep floating at the top of the table at the end of this encounter.
