This is the worst stat and record for Man Utd since Sir Alex Ferguson left if I’m correct. They have just lost two consecutive games for the first time in a long time now conceding three goals each and I think we are going to get a reaction from them here. Will they win here against Fulham? I don’t think so. Their morale, spirit, and confidence are gone in my opinion and I think Erik ten Hag could be shown the door out. Fulham, on the other hand, are looking like they’ve got a little spark in them and I believe that they are going to play well and make it a difficult outing for the Red Devils. I do not know which way the victory would go here because Fulham are at home and they are always looking strong at home but I believe that this game will not produce more than three goals.

🐝 BRENTFORD VS WEST HAM ⚒️ (16:00 WAT)
Brentford had a good win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out in a game where the Blues were awful. They will be hoping to build on it here but I believe that West Ham should be agitated here because of their 3-1 win against Arsenal in the midweek in the EFL cup. It was as if West Ham did a thorough research on Arsenal about how to defeat them – they bossed over the Gunners throughout the game even though both sides rested some key players. Brentford are good at narrowing down their opponent’s threats which has helped them keep two clean sheets in their last two games but I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet here. I think this game will be down to who can score more.

📛 BURNLEY VS CRYSTAL PALACE 🦅 (16:00 WAT)
I keep questioning Vincent Kompany’s philosophy at Burnley because the Clarets do not cross the ball. Even the best teams in the Premier League do cross the ball. As long as they are not crossing the ball, I do not see a victory around the corner for them because they are easily predictable when they are in the attacking phase. All their opponents need to do is build a shield around them which would either force them to make a mistake and give the ball away or pass to the back. It is very difficult to make a case for them here. Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have lost their last two games and I think they will see this fixture as the perfect game to get back to winning ways. They are hardworking, they have got the fighting spirit and I believe that they will get a reward for their good performance here.

🔵 EVERTON VS BRIGHTON 🐦 (16:00 WAT)
After losing the Merseyside derby, Everton have now secured two consecutive wins against West Ham (0-1) in the Premier League away from home and against Burnley (3-0) in the EFL Cup at home in the midweek. I am sure this will increase their level of confidence going into this one, so I expect them to perform well and give Brighton a good fight. Brighton, on the other hand, have been winless after losing to Man City. They could not beat Fulham at home afterwards but I believe they’ve had enough time to rest and regroup which is an advantage over the Toffees who played in the midweek. I expect the Seagulls to get something out of this game.

Bournemouth have been playing well in their last 3 games but they’ve only got one win out of three and the other two they’ve lost have been by a very close margin. I wish them well for the good performances but going to Etihad Stadium is like going to the lion’s den. This fixture has a Man City victory written all over its face because Etihad has been a fortress for the Cityzens. In terms of quality, Man City are far superior to Bournemouth and they’ve also got some players back from injury which is definitely a boost to the team. All I see is Man City’s victory.

⚔️ SHEFFIELD UTD VS WOLVES 🐺 (16:00 WAT)
I don’t think anyone’s eyes are on Wolves but these guys have been incredible and I’ll let you know now. Wolves have been unbeaten in their last 5 games in the Premier League. Are you surprised? Don’t be, let’s just give some accolades to Gary O’Neil and his boys. Last time out against Newcastle, they nearly won despite losing Pedro Neto to injury earlier in the game and they still outplayed the Magpies. I couldn’t believe it and I was so impressed that I began to wonder what Gray O’Neil has instilled in his players. I am sorry for Sheffield Utd in this clash because there are signs that Wolves are the wounded lion here, they’ve been hungry and I think they have finally found a prey. Unless Sheffield Utd surprise us, I do not see anything else other than Wolves victory but I will still be sticking one of my legs out because they are also bound to disappoint.

⚫ NEWCASTLE VS ARSENAL 🔴 (18:30 WAT)
I am having this weird feeling after the EFL Cup results in the midweek; someone is about to experience a hiccup. Both Newcastle and Arsenal rested some key players but it appears to me that a certain side has squad depth than the other while the starting XI of a certain side looks stronger than the other due to the presence of utility players. That’s gonna be a puzzle for the readers to solve. It will be difficult to pick a side here because of this weird feeling that the Gunners unbeaten run could come to an end at Saint James’ Park as the Magpies will be full of confidence going into this one. Another question is, do Arsenal have a very sharp striker to convert their chances? They suffered from this in the midweek defeat against West Ham in the cup game. Nevertheless, I won’t give up on Arsenal because they’ve got a greater course to play for. So I will be sitting on the fence safely here.

Nott. Forest had been a tough nut to crack until they met Liverpool last time out at Anfield where they were outclassed and suffered a 3-0 defeat. I think they will get a similar result here but by a close margin because Aston Villa have been on fire and in great momentum at the moment. Looking back at Aston Villa’s last six league games, they’ve been unbeaten having secured 16 points out of a possible 18 and scored 18 goals. Looks like they are scoring for fun now so the Super Reds will have a lot of defensive jobs to do here but I do not see them keeping the Lions out. Come what may, I am expecting Aston Villa to get something out of this game at City Ground.

Luton Town have been scoring goals in their last two games but it is not enough for them to get a win. I don’t think they will score here because Liverpool are a different breed of opposition to them and the difference in terms of quality is very clear. All Rod Edwards could do is to set up his team not to concede too many goals. Liverpool have been gaining momentum and now they just seem to be flexing muscles on their opponents. I am expecting a good and convincing win for the Reds here and extending their winning streak to four consecutive wins.

⚪ TOTTENHAM VS CHELSEA 🔵 (21:00 WAT)
I do not think Chelsea are capable of causing the Spurs any form of setback because the Blues are having a goal-scoring problem and lacking the winning spirit. I expect them to turn up for this game like they did in the London derby. Although this is not a derby, I believe there is a sort of rivalry between these two clubs but nobody sees it that way. We saw how awful the Blues were against Brentford last weekend in the league at Stamford Bridge but we got a reaction from them in the midweek in a 2-0 victory against Blackburn Rovers. I think this should improve their level of confidence. Tottenham, on the other hand, have a true identity, are unbeaten and sitting on the top of the Premier League. They have got a great course to play for which is to keep their unbeaten record and keep themselves on top of the league table and I believe James Maddison is going to cook well again . For the fact that they are at home, I believe that they will manage to cross the line no matter how difficult it becomes when the Blues come to the party.
