This Punditry is modeled after the Punditry of BBC Football and Skysport Premier League. We will be discussing the key elements involved in this Punditry and analyze their differences.

PREDICTION: this is the most important verdict in every game analysis and prediction. The following formats below are used to predict the outcome of games in this Punditry.

HOME OR AWAY

1 — Home team MUST win. If it ends in a draw, the prediction is WRONG. This prediction can only be correct IF the home team wins.

1X — Home team to win or draw. This prediction can only be wrong IF the away team wins.

2 — Away team MUST win. If it ends in a draw, the prediction is WRONG. This prediction can only be correct IF the away team wins.

2X — Away team to win or draw. This prediction can only be wrong IF the home team wins.

X — means the game will end in a draw be it 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4.

GOALS

OVER 0.5 — means the game must produce a minimum of one (1) goal.

OVER 1.5 — means the game must produce a minimum of two (2) goals.

OVER 2.5 — means the game must produce a minimum of three (3) goals.

OVER 3.5 — means the game must produce a minimum of four (4) goals.

OVER 4.5 — means the game must produce a minimum of five (5) goals.

…. and so on.

UNDER 0.5 — means the maximum goal in a game MUST NOT be more than zero. Hence, NO GOAL!

UNDER 1.5 — means the maximum number of goals in a game MUST NOT be more than one (1).

UNDER 2.5 — means the maximum number of goals in a game MUST NOT be more than two (2).

UNDER 3.5 — means the maximum number of goals in a game MUST NOT be more than three (3).

UNDER 4.5 — means the maximum number of goals in a game MUST NOT be more than four (4).

…. and so on.

TIP: this is the possible scoreline a game can possibly have after it is played which does not have any influence on the prediction.

For example, a prediction says the home team will win or draw and the tip is 1-1, if it ends 3-0, the prediction is still a Correct Outcome.

Also, if a prediction says Over 2.5 and the tip is 2-1 in favor of the home team, and the game ends 1-2 in favor of the away team, the prediction is still a Correct Outcome.

In a case whereby the prediction says the away team will win or draw and the tip is 1-2, if the game ends 1-2, thus it becomes a Correct Score.

In conclusion, the PREDICTION is the REAL VALUE while the TIP is just an added value.

Best Regards!
